Basketball Game Preview: Cooper Dragons vs. St. Francis Episcopal Wolves

The Cooper Dragons will challenge the St. Francis Episcopal Wolves at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. St. Francis Episcopal took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Cooper, who comes in off a win.

Last Tuesday, Cooper beat The Awty International 46-38.

Meanwhile, St. Francis Episcopal didn't have quite enough to beat First Baptist Christian on Tuesday and fell 27-25. While losing is never fun, the Wolves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1218th, while the Warriors are ranked 595th).

Cooper's win bumped their record up to 8-11. As for St. Francis Episcopal, they now have a losing record at 5-6.

Cooper was able to grind out a solid victory over St. Francis Episcopal in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, winning 35-24. Will Cooper repeat their success, or does St. Francis Episcopal have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
