Soccer Recap: Moshannon Valley Victorious

After losing to Ridgway the last time they met, Moshannon Valley decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Black Knights/Damsels sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Elker on Monday. That's two games straight that Moshannon Valley have won by just one goal.

Marley Reese and Rylee Tkacik scored both of Moshannon Valley's goals, bringing their combined season tally to three goals.

The win got Moshannon Valley back to even at 3-3. As for Ridgway, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2-1.

Moshannon Valley wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 4-1 defeat against Everett on the 23rd. Ridgway has also already played their next matchup (against Kane), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
