Basketball Recap: Bismarck Takes Down Minot in a Playoff Battle

It's playoff time, and Bismarck had no trouble coming through when it counted. They walked away with a 74-64 victory over the Minot Magicians on Thursday. That's two games straight that the Demons have won by exactly ten points.

Bismarck is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record this season. Minot's loss dropped their record down to 26-13.

Coming up, Bismarck will be playing at home against Grand Forks Central at 4:00 p.m. on March 13th. Bismarck knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 24 contests -- so hopefully Grand Forks Central likes a good challenge. Minot does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
