On Friday, Mountain City Christian Academy faced Grace Christian in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Mountain City Christian Academy Lions came out on top against the Grace Christian Grizzlies by a score of 57-47. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Lions also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

Morgan Maldonado continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 5 of 10 en route to 16 points along with seven boards and six assists. Jasmine Schaeffer was another key player, putting up 11 points and six rebounds.

Mountain City Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Grace Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-4.
