Basketball Recap: Firebaugh Takes a Loss

Firebaugh was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Estancia Eagles, falling 50-9.

Firebaugh's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Estancia, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-5.

Firebaugh will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on St. Genevieve at 5:30 p.m. on December 20th. Estancia has already played their next contest, a 40-28 victory against Rancho Alamitos on the 7th.
