The Webster Warriors fell 63-56 to the Morris Eagles on Tuesday. Even though they lost, the Warriors' still made a splash on offense and bumped their average scoring up to 50 points per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).
Webster lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Hondo Avington, who went 7-for-15 en route to 16 points. He is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 16 or more in each of the last three games he's played. Jeremiah Kimble was another key player, going 7-for-17 on his way to 19 points.
Webster has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 10-14 record this season. As for Morris, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-14.
