Football Recap: Bishop Guilfoyle Takes Down Westinghouse in a Playoff Battle + How To Watch

Bishop Guilfoyle extended their postseason success on Friday against Westinghouse. They slipped by the Bulldogs 7-6. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Marauders also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2024.

Justin Wheeler threw for 31 yards on three of six attempts.

When it comes to explaining why Westinghouse lost, don't look at K-shawn Hawkins. Despite the final result, he rushed for 75 yards and one score on only eight carries, and also picked up 37 receiving yards.

The win (which was Bishop Guilfoyle's fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-2. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 1.5 points on average over those games. As for Westinghouse, their loss dropped their record down to 8-4.

Bishop Guilfoyle wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 35-0 win against Belmont Charter on the 28th. Westinghouse does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
