Minatare unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost 66-44 to the South Platte Blue Knights on Friday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it 14 in a row.

South Platte's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Tatum Worley, who dropped a double-double with ten points and ten rebounds. Those ten boards gave Worley a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Braylon McBride, who shot 40% from the field to rack up 14 points and three steals.
