Basketball Recap: Blue Springs Finds Home Court Redemption Against Liberty

There's no place like home for Blue Springs, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Sunday. They secured a 52-48 W over the Liberty Blue Jays on Monday. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Wildcats' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 71st, while the Blue Jays are ranked 11th).

Blue Springs has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 6-4 record this season. As for Liberty, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Blue Springs will venture away from home to square off against Lee's Summit West at 7:00 p.m. on January 7th. As for Liberty, they will face off against North Kansas City at 7:00 p.m. on January 7th.
