It was a good run, but Lincoln Christian unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Monday. They took a 76-65 hit to the loss column at the hands of the East Central Cardinals. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cardinals apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2022.

Lincoln Christian's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-3. As for East Central, they pushed their record up to 6-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Lincoln Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 57-47 win against Victory Christian on the 14th. As for East Central, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 66-62 loss against Collinsville on the 14th.
