Volleyball Game Preview: Archer Tigers vs. Collins Hill Eagles

The Archer Tigers will square off against the Collins Hill Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Archer will be strutting in after a victory while Collins Hill will be coming in after a loss.

On Thursday, Archer earned a 2-0 win over Discovery.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Archer took both sets by at least 12 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-5, 25-13.

Agatha Kubecka and Jayana Castro were among the main playmakers for Archer as the former had 11 assists and six aces and the latter had five digs and two assists. That's the most aces Kubecka has posted since back in September of 2024.

Meanwhile, Collins Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Hebron Christian.

The victory got Archer back to even at 1-1. As for Collins Hill, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Archer beat Collins Hill 2-0 when the teams last played back in September of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
