The Bristol Bay Angels came into Thursday's game having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 35-33 win over Dillingham on Thursday. That's another feather in the cap for Bristol Bay, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Bristol Bay found their leader in underclassman Olivia Harvilla, who scored 23 points. That makes it six consecutive games in which Harvilla has scored at least a third of Bristol Bay's points.
Bristol Bay's win bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Dillingham, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.
Bristol Bay won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against the Eagles/Lady Eagles at 12:00 p.m. on January 26th. Dillingham does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
