Aurora East is 9-1 against West Chicago since January of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Aurora East Tomcats will host the West Chicago Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. Aurora East will be strutting in after a victory while West Chicago will be coming in after a loss.

Aurora East is coming into the contest on the come-up as their season has now been buoyed by two straight wins. They took their matchup on Friday with ease, bagging a 61-19 victory over Elgin. That 42 point margin sets a new team best for the Tomcats this season.

Meanwhile, West Chicago played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 49-28 to Glenbard South.

Aurora East's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-17. As for West Chicago, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-14.

Aurora East was able to grind out a solid victory over West Chicago in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, winning 62-49. Will Aurora East repeat their success, or does West Chicago have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
