Soccer Game Preview: Clifton Central vs. Illinois Lutheran

Clifton Central has gone 8-2 against Illinois Lutheran recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Comets will take on the Chargers in a tournament on Saturday. Clifton Central's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Thursday, Clifton Central didn't have quite enough to beat Reed-Custer and fell 4-3. Clifton Central has struggled against Reed-Custer recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Illinois Lutheran lost 9-1 to St. Anne on Monday. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Illinois Lutheran were already down 7-1.

Illinois Lutheran's loss dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Clifton Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-14-1.
