Soccer Recap: Mitchell Comes Up Short

Mitchell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They came up short against the Madison Patriots, falling 9-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Madison this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-0 back in March.

Mitchell's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Madison, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-4-1.

Mitchell didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 9-0 defeat against Owen on the 9th. As for Madison, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 5-0 win against Draughn on the 9th.
