Recap: Christian Academy Warriors vs. Clarksville Generals
The Christian Academy Warriors entered their tilt with the Clarksville Generals with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. Christian Academy strolled past Clarksville with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 44-28. That's another feather in the cap for Christian Academy, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Christian Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Addison Jackson, who scored 12 points. Another player making a difference was Alexus Bryant, who scored 12 points along with four steals.
Despite the loss, Clarksville had strong showings from Courtney Austin, who scored nine points along with three steals, and Julia Perissi, who scored 13 points. Perissi continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played.
Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Clarksville, they are on a 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-14.
Christian Academy will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Henryville at 7:30 p.m. As for Clarksville, they will head out on the road to face off against Medora at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Medora has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
