Basketball Recap: Cumby Comes Up Short

Cumby won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Tuesday. They came up short against the North Hopkins Panthers, falling 63-38. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 47-33 back in December of 2024.

Cumby's defeat dropped their record down to 11-11. As for North Hopkins, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season.

Cumby has already played their next match (against Yantis), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. North Hopkins will welcome Pioneer Tech & Arts Academy at 6:45 p.m. on Friday.
