Basketball Recap: Slidell Takes a Loss

On Saturday, the Slidell Tigers were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 40-39 to the St. Helena College and Career Academy Hawks. The match marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Slidell's loss dropped their record down to 13-4. As for St. Helena College and Career Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-3.

Slidell will face off against East Jefferson at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Slidell is facing East Jefferson at the right time seeing as East Jefferson is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for St. Helena College and Career Academy, they will square off against Livonia at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
