Football Preview: Griffith Panthers vs. Whiting Oilers
Griffith is 6-1 against Whiting since August of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Griffith Panthers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Whiting Oilers at 8:00 p.m. Griffith is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games.

Nakiya Moran was a one-man wrecking crew for Whiting as he rushed for 131 yards and three touchdowns. Whiting also got help from Michael Anderson, who showed off his sure hands for 87 receiving yards.
Whiting's defense was in the mix too, especially the secondary: they snagged two passes before it was all said and done. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Kamron Patterson.
Griffith's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Whiting, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
