League recap: Silver Lake Regional gains ground in national rankings

Silver Lake Regional made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 9,182 from 9,927. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 29-0 victory over the Lakers last week.

Quincy led Patriot - Keenan in scoring this week after putting up 33 points on Whitman-Hanson Regional.

Duxbury's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Bobby Maimaron threw for 168 and 2 touchdowns and Jack Snow had 90 yards receiving. On the ground Brad Marcotte contributed 68 yards. Marcotte helped Duxbury's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 18 yards.

The Dragons' dynamic duo of Maimaron and Snow proved to be unstoppable against Silver Lake Regional, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Marcotte helped Duxbury's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 18 yards.

Duxbury's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Dragons feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Sean McCarthy has thrown for 309 yards and 2 touchdowns this season, while Drew Hadley has 7 catches for 170 yards. McCarthy also leads the league in rushing with 140 yards.

A big matchup in the league this week will be when Duxbury takes on Hingham. At the moment, Dave Maimaron's team is in third, while the Harbormen are in second.
