Softball Preview: Bayard Tigers vs. Alliance Bulldogs        
        
		
             Bayard is 0-5 against Alliance since September of 2022 but things could change  on Thursday. The Bayard Tigers will host the Alliance Bulldogs  at 4:00  p.m. Bayard will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more  runs each  match than the last.
 Bayard's pitching crew heads into the  contest  hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed  on Saturday. They blew past Chase County 12-0. Considering the Tigers have won nine matchups by more than nine  runs this season, Saturday's  blowout was nothing new.
 The team  relied heavily on  Jenna Flores, who  scored three  runs and  stole four bases while  getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances. She is  on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as she's  now  stolen  at least one in the last three games she's  played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Krista West, who  scored a  run and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances.
 Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Bayard  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .692. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved they're  OBP total in three consecutive  games.
 Meanwhile, Alliance lost  16-3 to Gering on Tuesday. Alliance hasn't had much luck with Gering recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
 Bayard pushed their record up to 11-10-1 with the  win, which was their fourth straight  on the road. As for Alliance, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-19.
