Grayson County came tearing into Friday's contest with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 64-62 victory over the Hancock County Hornets. Given the Cougars' advantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 47th, while the Hornets are ranked 222nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Grayson County's win bumped their record up to 22-6. As for Hancock County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 13 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-16 record this season.

As of now, neither Grayson County nor Hancock County have any future games scheduled.
