Softball Recap: Thomas Jefferson Has No Trouble Against John Ehret

Thomas Jefferson barely beat John Ehret the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Thomas Jefferson was the clear victor by a 13-6 margin over John Ehret on Thursday. The win continues a trend for Thomas Jefferson in their matchups with John Ehret: they've now won nine in a row.

Kamberr Lombas was a major factor no matter where she played. She tossed seven innings while giving up four earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits. Lombas was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one double.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Kalli Cannon, who scored five runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4. Those five runs gave her a new career-high. Micah Williams was another key player, going 2-for-4 with four RBI, one triple, and one run.

Thomas Jefferson's victory bumped their record up to 9-11. As for John Ehret, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-8.
