Elkhart Christian Academy's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Addy Trovatore, who had 14 digs, and Ryleigh Viront, who had 12 digs and nine kills. Viront has been hot for a while, having posted five or more kills the last 39 times she's played.
Meanwhile, Westview didn't have quite enough to beat Fairfield on Tuesday and fell 3-2. While the Warriors didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Falcons 25-21 in the first set.
Westview started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 21-25, 25-16, 25-16, 15-6.
Westview's defeat dropped their record down to 12-12. As for Elkhart Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 17-12.
