Football Recap: Central Florida Christian Academy Piles Up the Points Against Bronson + How To Watch

While Central Florida Christian Academy didn't have the best season last year (they finished 3-6), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They claimed a resounding 42-12 win over Bronson. That 30 point margin sets a new team best for Central Florida Christian Academy this season.

Central Florida Christian Academy found their leader in freshman Jahmari Hammonds, who rushed for 153 yards and three TDs on only eight carries. Hammonds really tore up the turf during one magnificent 75-yard run. The team also got some help courtesy of Gavin Privatzu, who threw for 125 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only ten passes.

One reason for the win was Central Florida Christian Academy's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for four sacks. That dominant display was truly a team effort as four different players picked up one apiece.

The victory keeps Central Florida Christian Academy at an undefeated 4-0. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 12.0 points on average this season. As for Bronson, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Central Florida Christian Academy will welcome Windermere Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. After each having a week off, Bronson and Foundation Academy will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on October 3.
