It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Trinity Christian Academy had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They breezed past the Methodist Children's Home Bulldogs to the tune of 83-22. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 17 contests by 26 points or more this season.
Trinity Christian Academy found their leader in freshman Luke Nutt, who shot 5-for-5 from downtown and almost dropped a double-double with 29 points and nine rebounds. Thanks to that strong game, Nutt now owns an excellent 40.5% three-point shooting accuracy. Luke Rolen was another key player, on his way to 16 points and six boards.
The win (which was Trinity Christian Academy's 14th in a row) raised their record to 27-4. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 39.1 points. As for Methodist Children's Home, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-7.
Trinity Christian Academy has already played their next match, a 68-58 victory against Grace Academy on the 20th. Methodist Children's Home does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
