Basketball Game Preview: Millbury Woolies vs. Nipmuc Regional Warriors

The Millbury Woolies and the Nipmuc Regional Warriors will face off at 5:30 p.m. on Monday without much rest having both just played. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Millbury saw some tournament action on Sunday. They put the hurt on Westborough with a sharp 57-34 victory. That's two games straight that the Woolies have won by exactly 23 points.

Meanwhile, Nipmuc Regional put another one in the bag on Sunday to keep their perfect season alive. They strolled past Dover-Sherborn with points to spare, taking the game 77-62.

Millbury better keep an eye on James McKinney. He was instrumental in Nipmuc Regional's win, putting up 29 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Chase Kelly, who posted 15 points.

Millbury now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Nipmuc Regional, their win bumped their record up to 3-0.

Millbury strolled past Nipmuc Regional in their previous matchup back in December of 2022 by a score of 77-62. The rematch might be a little tougher for Millbury since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
