Volleyball Recap: Prince Avenue Christian Comes Up Short

Prince Avenue Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Greenbrier Wolfpack. The Wolverines were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wolfpack apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Despite the defeat, Prince Avenue Christian saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Brenna Smith had 14 digs. Those 14 digs set a new season-high mark for Smith.

Prince Avenue Christian's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Greenbrier, their victory bumped their record up to 5-7.

Prince Avenue Christian has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Oconee County on the 21st. As for Greenbrier, they will take on Grovetown at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
