Softball Game Preview: Hillsboro Burros vs. Cane Ridge Ravens

The Hillsboro Burros are taking a road trip to challenge the Cane Ridge Ravens at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hillsboro will be strutting in after a victory while Cane Ridge will be coming in after a loss.

Hillsboro's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Hunters Lane with a sharp 7-0 win.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 14 runs the game before, Cane Ridge was a bit more limited in their match on Tuesday. They lost 17-2 to Overton. The Ravens haven't had much luck with the Bobcats recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Asia Whitlock was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI. That home run marked the first that she launched this season.

Hillsboro picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 2-3. As for Cane Ridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-4.
