Soccer Recap: Emery Takes a Loss

Emery lost against Carbon back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Spartans came up short against the Dinos, falling 11-1. Emery were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 9-1.

Emery has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-4 record this season. As for Carbon, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 9-2.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Emery is set to face off against their familiar foe North Sanpete at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Carbon will take on rival Manti at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
