Hoggard waltzed into their match on Tuesday with 18 straight wins... but they left with 19. Everything went their way against the Ashley Screaming Eagle as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 3-0 victory last Thursday.

Hoggard not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Ashley between 15 and 17 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-15, 25-17.

Lydia Maughan had a dynamite game, getting 24 digs and two assists. Those 24 digs gave her a new career-high.

Hoggard's win bumped their record up to 23-3. As for Ashley, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-10.

Looking ahead, Hoggard will be playing in front of their home fans against Topsail at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Ashley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
