Syracuse took a four-goal defeat the last time they faced off against Farmington, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Titans had just enough and edged out the Phoenix 2-1 on Wednesday. That's two games straight that Syracuse have won by just one goal.

Tate Jacobs and Wyatt Affleck scored both of Syracuse's goals, bringing their combined season tally to eight goals.

Syracuse has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season. As for Farmington, they dropped their record down to 3-5 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.
