Basketball Recap: Motivation Takes a Loss

Motivation lost against Parkway Northwest back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Motivation Jaguars fell just short of the Parkway Northwest Hoyas by a score of 42-40.

When it comes to explaining why Motivation lost, don't look at Chace White. Despite the final result, he posted 23 points. White's afternoon made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Amari Gadson, who had ten points.

Leading Parkway Northwest to victory were Jaicir Isaac and Kahleem Jordan. Isaac earned 17 points, while Jordan put up 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Xavier Dyer, who posted five points.

Motivation now has a losing record at 0-1-1.

Motivation wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 51-42 victory against Girard Academic Music Program on the 5th. As for Parkway Northwest, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 54-25 win against Parkway West on the 5th.
