Basketball Recap: Salisbury Township Takes a Loss

Salisbury Township lost against Notre Dame-Green Pond back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Salisbury Township Falcons lost to the Notre Dame-Green Pond Crusaders on the road by a 69-52 margin. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 330th, while the Crusaders are ranked 100th).

Salisbury Township has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-6 record this season. As for Notre Dame-Green Pond, they pushed their record up to 13-2 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Salisbury Township will square off against Wilson Area at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Notre Dame-Green Pond, they will take on Palisades at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Notre Dame-Green Pond's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four matches.
