Volleyball Recap: Fountain-Fort Carson Takes a Loss

Fountain-Fort Carson saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell just short of the Denver East Angels by a score of 3-2. While the Trojans didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Angels 25-16 in the first set.

Fountain-Fort Carson couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Denver East a tough time in the fourth set. The match finished with set scores of 16-25, 25-15, 26-24, 29-31, 15-13.

Fountain-Fort Carson's defeat dropped their record down to 14-8. As for Denver East, their win bumped their record up to 10-11.

Coming up, Fountain-Fort Carson will square off against Pine Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Trojans surely won't give up without a fight. As for Denver East, they will take on Vista PEAK Prep in a tournament on Tuesday.
