Baseball Recap: Bishop Montgomery Extends Winning Streak to Three

Bishop Montgomery extended their winning streak to three on Wednesday, bumping their season record up to 12-9 in the process. They were the clear victors by a 12-1 margin over the Pioneer Valley Panthers. This was payback for the Knights, who suffered an 8-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Pierson Howe spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on three hits and racked up 14 Ks. Bishop Montgomery is undefeated when Howe posts ten or more strikeouts, but 6-9 otherwise.
