Softball Recap: Bergen Tech Comes Up Short

Bergen Tech lost against Ridgewood back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Knights took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Maroons.

Bergen Tech's loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Ridgewood, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bergen Tech will challenge Leonia on Wednesday. The Lions' pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so the Knights' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Ridgewood, they will be playing at home against Passaic County Tech at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.
