Baseball Recap: Crest's Undefeated Season over After Nine Games

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Crest and Southeast meet (four straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Monday. Crest fell 14-11 to Southeast. The match marked Crest's lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Henry White was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games he's played. Dalton Kersley also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Crest fell to 8-1. As for Southeast, their win ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 6-5.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Crest beat Southeast by a score of 13-3 later that day.
