Argyle waltzed into their match on Tuesday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Grapevine Mustangs. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Argyle was especially dominant in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-15, 25-23.

Alexis Elsey paced Argyle's offense, picking up 13 kills. Elsey got some help from Karsyn Rogers and her 20 assists. Rogers was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Argyle's victory bumped their record up to 29-3. As for Grapevine, their defeat ended a six-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 19-17.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Argyle is set to take on their familiar foe Colleyville Heritage at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Grapevine will square off against rival Denton at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
