Volleyball Recap: Waipahu Beats Mililani for Their Fourth Straight Victory

Waipahu took a three-set loss the last time they faced off against Mililani, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Waipahu Marauders won by a set and slipped past the Mililani Trojans 3-2. The victory was nothing new for the Marauders as they're now sitting on four straight.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (110-106) Waipahu actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 19-25, 20-25, 26-24, 16-14.

Waipahu's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Mililani, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

Waipahu will challenge 'Aiea at 6:30 p.m. on March 27th. As for Mililani, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Kapolei at 6:30 p.m.
