Basketball Game Preview: Holton Red Devils vs. Morley Stanwood Mohawks

The Holton Red Devils will challenge the Morley Stanwood Mohawks at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Holton is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 66 points on Wednesday, they were much more limited against Hart on Thursday. They were beaten by the Pirates 81-19. The Red Devils have struggled against the Pirates recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Morley Stanwood ended up a good deal behind Kent City on Friday and lost 56-37. The Mohawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Holton's loss dropped their record down to 3-23. As for Morley Stanwood, they now have a losing record of 10-11.

Holton strolled past Morley Stanwood when the teams last played back in January of 2022 by a score of 53-34. Will Holton repeat their success, or does Morley Stanwood have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
