Basketball Recap: Liberty Christian Academy Falls to Grace Christian in First Game of Season

Liberty Christian Academy unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. The game between them and the Grace Christian Wildcats didn't end well, with the Liberty Christian Academy Knights falling 48-32. The Knights' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row dating back to last season.

Liberty Christian Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Bryan Bunnells, who posted eight points. Tanner Kuykendall was another key player, putting up nine points.

Liberty Christian Academy will be playing at home against Antioch Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Grace Christian, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Christ the Cornerstone Academy at 6:15 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
