Football Recap: Pisgah Gets the Win

It's playoff time, and Pisgah had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top against the Mount Pleasant Tigers by a score of 22-15 on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bears.

Matthew Mehaffey threw for 57 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Maddox Wright was his top target, picking up 57 receiving yards and two scores. On the ground, Landon Pope rushed for 131 yards and one TD.

Pisgah's win bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Mount Pleasant, their loss dropped their record down to 8-4.

Looking ahead, Pisgah will face off against Brevard at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Mount Pleasant does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
