Volleyball Recap: Lee Extends Home Winning Streak to Five

Lee proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by three) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Taconic Thunder. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Wildcats have posted since September 23, 2024.

Lee took Taconic into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-18, 24-26, 22-25, 17-15.

Lee pushed their record up to 8-5 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Taconic, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.

Lee will challenge Lenox Memorial at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Taconic has already played their next match (against Drury), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
