Basketball Game Preview: Wellpinit Redskins vs. Neah Bay Red Devils

Wellpinit is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They managed a 48-42 win over Sunnyside Christian. That's two games straight that the Redskins have won by exactly six points.

Meanwhile, Neah Bay had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 35.9 points) and they went ahead and made it eight on Thursday. They enjoyed a cozy 51-36 victory over the Nighthawks.

Neah Bay's win came from a few key players Wellpinit will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Qwaapeys 'Q' Greene, who shot 54% from the field on her way to 20 points and three steals. She is on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as she's posted one of at least 50% in the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Cerise Moss, who went 6-for-14 en route to 15 points.

Neah Bay's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 22-1. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.6 points on average over those games. As for Wellpinit, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 22-2.
