Preview: George Washington Prep Generals vs. Jordan Bulldogs
The George Washington Prep Generals are on the road again on Friday and play against the Jordan Bulldogs at 3:00 p.m. on November 24th. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only George Washington Prep walked away with it. They came out on top against the Jaguars by a score of 16-8 on Friday.
Meanwhile, Jordan waltzed into Friday's game with seven straight wins but they left with eight. They enjoyed a cozy 38-21 win over Bell. 38 seems to be a good number for Jordan as the team scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.
David Sandy was his usual excellent self, rushing for 226 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 11.3 yards per carry, and also throwing for 63 yards and a touchdown while completing 100% of his passes. Sandy has been hot recently, having posted 100 or more rushing yards the last ten times he's played.
Their wins bumped George Washington Prep to 5-8 and South East to 5-8.
Everything came up roses for George Washington Prep against Jordan when the teams last played back in October of 2022 as the team secured a 55-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for George Washington Prep since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
