Softball Recap: Rogers Comes Up Short

After flying high against Woodward on Wednesday, Rogers came back down to earth. The Rams fell 20-15 to the Waite Indians on Thursday. The Rams haven't had much luck with the Indians recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Da'Khila Barry led a balanced group of hitters, going 3-for-4 with three runs and two RBI. Da'Mya Boles was another key player, going 3-for-5 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs.

Rogers' loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Waite, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-6.

Coming up, Rogers will square off against Lima Senior at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Waite does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
