Softball Recap: Robertsdale Wins Going Away Against Blacksher

Robertsdale made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Blacksher, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Golden Bears blew past the Bulldogs 7-1 on Friday. This was a revenge game for the Golden Bears: when they faced off against the Bulldogs back in March, they had to take a 16-10 loss.

Robertsdale got a great performance from Brielan Adams as she didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched.

At the plate, Kinsley Stevens was incredible, going 1-for-2 with one home run and three RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March of 2024. Braylin Blocker was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

The victory made it two in a row for Robertsdale and bumps their season record up to 16-14. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Blacksher, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 17-10 record.

Coincidentally, Robertsdale and Blacksher will both be playing Bryant the next time they take the field. The Bulldogs will host the Hurricanes at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Golden Bears will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
