Volleyball Preview: A Rolling Eisenhower Meets a Wounded Benjamin Davis

The Eisenhower Eagles will welcome the Benjamin Davis Falcons at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Eisenhower will be strutting in after a win, while Benjamin Davis will be coming in after a defeat.

Eisenhower will make a triumphant return home after picking up their first road victory of the season at Nimitz's expense on Friday. The Eagles came out on top against the Cougars by a score of 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Eisenhower walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the third set). Once all was said and done, the final set scores wound up at 25-18, 12-25, 25-15, 25-19.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Benjamin Davis' good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell 3-1 to Westfield.

While Benjamin Davis ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The final set scores came out to 25-23, 24-26, 25-17, 25-22.

Eisenhower's victory brought them up to 5-16. As for Benjamin Davis, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 10-18.
