It was a good run, but Bluestem unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-match winning streak on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Collegiate Spartans. If the Lions were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Spartans when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Leading Collegiate to victory were Khloie Villagomez and Shelbie Emerson. Villagomez had ten digs, while Emerson had two aces. That's the most aces Emerson has posted since back in September.

Bluestem's defeat dropped their record down to 10-10-3. As for Collegiate, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-11.

Bluestem has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Conway Springs on the 4th. As for Collegiate, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Kingman on the 4th.
